The Individuals with Disabilities Act, the federal law which governs
special education, was revised in 2004.  Mr. Fox believes parents need
to know what these changes are and how their children will be affected
directly.

Charlie Fox, a special education attorney and father of a child with special needs, will highlight:

  1. Changes in transition planning (parents of middle school and high school parents will learn how their children will benefit)
  2. Changes in laws governing the behavior of special needs children
  3. The impact of recently ruled upon special education cases and upcoming Supreme Court cases
  4. What to watch for and how to stay on top of these changes
