Nicole T. Jorwic Joins Law Offices of Charles P. Fox

I am very pleased to announce that Nicole T. Jorwic, a recent law school graduate and sibling of a brother with autism has joined the firm as an associate; in case you have been wondering about the author of several recent posts on the blog. It is a pleasure to have her new and fresh perspective and energy to successfully advocate for student's rights to a FAPE. Below is her more complete biographical background.

Nicole received her juris doctor and child and family law
certificate from Loyola University-Chicago in 2009 where she received the legal training necessary
to fulfill her ultimate desire to practice the law and thereby serve the legal
needs of children and people with disabilities. Nicole grew up first as a
sibling of a brother with autism, then a classmate in an included classroom,
and eventually became employed as a summer camp counselor in programs that
serviced the needs of the disabled. As an undergraduate at the University of
Illinois in Urbana/Champaign she worked as an after-school counselor for
children with disabilities and gained a better understanding of the
inter-workings of schools. Nicole draws on her personal and professional
experiences to provide insightful and passionate legal counsel.
